On a daily basis, supervisors have many important discussions with their crews and individual crew members regarding safety and various work processes. Discussions may consist of the sharing of critical work instructions, the setting of expectations for completing tasks or the communication of company-related information. The Personal Contact form is used to record important conversations like coaching discussions or when correcting behavioral issues. The Personal Contact must contain sufficient detail to record discussions and interactions, the setting of expectations with instrcutions, and any actions taken or planned. Documenting these interactions provides proof of due diligence for the Supervisor.
